Here you can find links to our sister associations in the LGBTQIA+ community at other universities:

  • GetConnected (EN): Biannual LGBTQ networking event. Offers a platform for intergenerational exchange between students, young professionals, and seniors regarding queer topics. They aim to connect people of different backgrounds.
  • HOPZ (DE/EN): Hochschul Pride Zürich (HOPZ) is a group of students, employees, and alumnx that wants to connect and centre the LGBTQIA+-Community at the universities of Zurich. They offer panels, workshops, dinners, and much more.
  • Q+ (DE/EN): Q+ is part of the Diversity Commission of Alias with the goal to support the queer students at ZHAW. They offer events, coffee breaks, and connect LGBTQIA+ students within ZHAW.
  • QueerUnity (DE/EN): QueerUnity is the association for LGBTQIA+ students and employees at the university of Lucerne. They meet regularly to organize queer media exchanges, movie screening or bowling events.
  • UniQueer (DE/EN): Represents, connects and supports LGBTQIA+ students at the university of St. Gallen (HSG). Offers a safe space to meet, chat and different events such as movie nights, dinners or BBQ evenings.

  • Aromatisches und Asexuelles Spektrum Schweiz (EN/DE/FR/IT), most information (DE only): Organisation for people on the asexual and aromantic spectrum. Offers information and discussion groups.
  • BisexuellSchweiz (DE): Works towards more safety, acceptance, and connection for bisexual people in Switzerland. Offers social events.
  • HAZ (DE): Zurich based association which fights against discrimination on the basis of sexuality or gender identity,. Offers advice, social events, and activism.
  • InterAction (DE/FR): National organisation for intersex people. Offers information and informational events.
  • LOS (DE/FR): The lesbian organisation of Switzerland, Umbrella Organisation of Women*-loving Women*. Offers information, social events and activism.
  • MigraQueer (DE): For queer people with immigrant backgrounds of all varieties, as well as BIPOC. Offers social events.
  • Milchjugend (DE): Youth organisation for lesbian, gay, bi, aro-ace, trans*, intersex youth and everyone in between and outside of it. Offers information and social events.
  • Pink Cross (EN/DE/FR/IT): Swiss Umbrella Organisation for Gay and Bisexual Men*. Offers information, advice, social and informational events and activism.
  • QueerAmnesty (EN/DE): Subgroup of Amnesty International, which handles questions in the area of human rights, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Offers activism.
  • Regenbogenfamilien (DE/FR/IT): Umbrella organisation of Regenbogenfamilien (Rainbow families with queer parents) in Switzerland. Offers information and social and informational events.
  • TGNS (DE/FR/IT): Swiss organisation by and for trans* people. Offers information, social and informational events, and activism.

If you ever need support, here are some LGBTQIA+ support resources you can turn to:

  • DuBistDu (DE): A support hotline for questions regarding sexual and romantic orientation, as well as gender identity. They offer online or in person support.
  • HAZ-Support (DE/EN): Offer free counseling, and legal advice concerning all queer matters. Offer support through E-Mail, phone calls or in person meetings.
  • Intersex.ch (DE): Support group for intersex people. Swiss Informational Source for Intersex People.
  • QueerAmnesty Support for Refugees (EN/DE): Support of QueerAmnesty a subgroup of Amnesty International for queer refugees.
  • Report a Hate Crime (DE/EN/FR/IT): A reporting tool of the LBGTQ-Helpline to collect hate crimes.
  • LGBTQ-Helpline (DE/EN/FR/IT): A helpline offering support for questions regarding LGBTQ matters. Offer support by phone, chat, or email or in person.
  • TGNS Legal Support (DE/FR/IT): Supports all people that have legal questions regarding trangender matters. Offers support through E-Mail or walk-in sessions in Zurich.
  • Pink Cross Legal Support (DE/FR): Offers legal advice and support with questions to queer men, either trough their website or by phone.
  • Checkpoint Zurich (DE/EN): Medical, psychological and preventive services for queer people and everyone else.
  • Dr. Gay (DE/FR/IT/EN): Anonymous online counseling regarding homosexuality, love, relationships, safer sex, and sex with men.
  • Contact Person LGBTIQ of the Zurich city police: Contact person and counseling for cases of discrimination with respect to LGBTIQ matters.
  • Support for LGBT (DE/EN/FR/ES): Self-organized support group for legal, housing, medical and psychological questions and more.
