Women* Dinner
Once a month we hold our famous women* dinner. We cook together and enjoy a social evening with our members. Such a dinner needs many motivated helpers. We need ideas for the menu, helping hands for grocery shopping, people for practical organization like setting up the tables, and people who check during the evening that everything goes as planned. Participating will give you lots of opportunities to get to know people and influence the dinners with your ideas. Whether you’re up for a smaller or a larger task… we need you 😀

Events for Everyone
Do you enjoy organizing, planning and spending time with people? Then the events commission is exactly for you. You’ll develop ideas for events in a small team with other volunteers and then make them a reality. You’ve always wanted to do a pub crawl? A movie night? An excursion? Or do you have any other cool event ideas for PolyUniQue members? Then this is your chance. Become a member of the events commission and design together with us awesome opportunities for the community.

Men* Dinner
We are looking for motivated helpers for our regular men* dinners. What’s it about? We need menu ideas, help with the preparation such grocery shopping, setup, cooking, etc. Participating will give you lots of opportunities to get to know people and shape the dinners with your ideas.

Dinner for Trans and Nonbinary People
Join us at our regular trans and non-binary dinners! We’re looking for people who’d like to share ideas for the menu, lend a hand with shopping, setting up, cooking, and everything in between.
It’s a great chance to meet new people, be creative together, and shape these dinners into something special with your input.

Social Media
The social media commission is responsible for maintaining our Instagram and Facebook accounts as well as the email newsletter and the Telegram channel. This work is divided into smaller tasks such as writing posts for Instagram or short descriptions for the newsletter, along with taking photos at our events.

Alumnx
In May 2022, we were founded as a PolyUniQue committee through an initiative of PolyUniQue alumni and an academic mid-level staff member. The goal of Alumnx is to provide a casual safe space for former LGBTQIA+ students and LGBTQIA+ individuals in the workforce. We are a mixed age and international (and of course super friendly) group where any person can make new connections.
The student association PolyUniQue provides us with the infrastructure we need for our existence. The costs for participation in events are covered entirely by the participants, any profit we make is passed on to PolyUniQue. If you still want to support the LGBTQIA+ community in any way, you can make a donation to PolyUniQue – in our experience, students are often short of money, you know 🙂
